The Softee story
It starts with wanting to make energy management simpler.
Softee grew out of what two professionals from BEHI — an engineering consultancy specialising in building energy performance — kept finding on site.
Auditing local authorities, public bodies and operators, the same difficulty came up every time: “We have data… but no clear way to understand it or act on it.”
To answer that, four co-founders with complementary backgrounds — energy, technology, customer support, strategy — came together and built Softee: the platform that makes energy legible and manageable.
Our mission
We start from something simple: most building managers do not have tools fit for steering their energy consumption.
The tools that exist are often too complex, too technical, and too far from what actually happens on site.
So we built a platform that is clear and concrete, one that lets anyone take back control of their consumption without jargon, without technical training and without losing time. Our mission: make energy management simple, accessible and genuinely useful to everyone working in public service.
