Privacy policy
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and stores no data on a server. Here is precisely what that means.
What this site does not collect
Most sites use this section to describe the trackers they set and the measurement tools they use. This one has none, and that is a build decision rather than an intention:
- No cookies of any kind — not technical, not analytical, not advertising. No consent banner is needed, because there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Matomo, no equivalent.
- No third-party resources. Fonts and images are served from this same site. Loading a font from a third-party domain would pass your IP address to that third party, so they are hosted here.
- No application server. This site is made of static pages. There is no database, so there is nowhere to store what you type.
The server delivering these pages keeps a technical request log, as any web server does. That is the only automatic processing connected to your visit, and it is part of operating the service.
What happens when you fill in a form
The site’s three forms — the demonstration request, the contact form and the quote request — all work the same way: the button composes a message in your own email client, with the fields already laid out.
Nothing is transmitted until you send it, and nothing passes through this site. What you type leaves your machine only in the email you send yourself.
If your email client does not open, no data has been sent or stored: write to us directly.
From the moment you send that email, it arrives in Softee’s inbox and becomes ordinary correspondence. It is used to answer your request — to arrange a demonstration, draw up a quote, answer a question — and for nothing else. It is not added to a prospecting tool, sold, rented, or passed to a third party for commercial purposes.
Legal basis and retention
Processing your request rests on your own approach to us: you write in order to get an answer (legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry, article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Correspondence about a commercial enquiry that goes no further is kept for as long as handling it requires, then deleted. Correspondence forming part of a contractual relationship follows the retention periods applicable to commercial records.
Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection over the data you have sent us. To exercise them, simply write to us: we reply to the address you contacted us from.
For any request about your data, go through the contact form.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter to the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
What this page does not cover
This policy covers this website, and nothing else. It does not describe how data is handled inside the Softee platform, which is software reached through authentication and governed by your contract with Softee. If you are a platform user, the terms that apply are the ones in that contract.
